I’ve been using the tower 28 concealer and recently it’s been looking cakey and creasy under my eyes. Is there a way to make it non cakey? Or are there any other concealers for dry under eyes and are water based?

@emilyrojas Have you tried using either a hydrating eye cream OR a smoothing primer underneath?

Yes I use the innis eye cream and the elf power grip primer!

@emilyrojas, are you having any allergic reactions this time of the year?  It could be that, since you noticed it's recent.  Try using either a hydrating eye cream or eye mask as prep.  Use a small amount and blend with a wet sponge to add more moisture.

@emilyrojas how much are u using? I use shade 2.0 and honestly a small dot under each eye is enough! sometimes when i put too much, it can feel cakey! don't use too much! ❤️ hope this helps!

@emilyrojasinstead of swiping the applicator directly under your eye, put it on your hand first and apply it with a brush so you can control how much product is going underneath your eye. Also be sure to not over-powdering when you set it as well. 
I’m a little weary of this since i have sensitive eyes and skin lol😂but another possible solution is to try an under eye cream before your concealer to add an extra layer of hydration and smoothness. 
If all else fails and you want a different concealer the Kosas Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer with Caffeine and Hyaluronic Acid works well for me (i have however heard some people say it didn’t work for them), i’ve heard good things about the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna We're Even Hydrating Longwear Waterproof Concealer and a cheaper option is the NYX bare with me concealer.
