Best foundation for dry skin

I have very dry skin. I've tried makeup forever. Smashbox, Too faced etc. I just can't find a foundation that doesn't look cakey.

First make sure you skin routine is good.I deal with very dry skin and the number one things to make sure your foundation goes on beautiful is the skin products also make sure you moisturize good before and good hydrating primer.. you have a hydrating foundation.... try to use hydrating foundation such as becca,NARS all day luminous ,fenty and hour glass... if I think of anymore I will let you know

Well, a good skin regimen will help prevent cakiness. I exfoliate like the devil and use sleeping face masks regularly (laneige or glowrecipe) and use J.One jelly pack as a primer to help moisturize my face during the day and it keeps my makeup adhered to me skin. I swear by kbeauty skincare to keep my skin dewy and bouncy.

I have extremely dry skin as well. I have personally love the make up forever Stick foundation as well as the hourglass vanish stick foundation. As for drugstore I love the wet n wild foundation only 5 bucks and it's amazing . Just be careful can get cakes if you are heavy handed. And I also recommend the Milani perfect conceal foundation, it's full coverage looks flawless on dry skin and you can mix it with a drop off face oil/serum and it'll be perfect!

Hey! I suffer from extremely dry skin so hopefully I can help, but it depends on the coverage you want. I usually go for light-medium coverage foundations, and my favorites are BECCA's Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation and Tarte's Rainforest of the Sea water foundation. Both are great on my dry skin. Make sure you're starting with a good moisturizer (I recommend Fresh's rose face cream) and primer too because water foundations tend to come off easily without a primer in my experience.
