Best Dry Skin Moisturizer for Under Makeup

What is everyone's favourite moisturizer for dry skin to wear under makeup? I'm looking for something hydrating that doesn't pill, especially for the under-eye area. ❤️

@xrileyjadex Sharing an advice or opinion to help you look on products, the pilling issue under makeup is almost always a layering compatibility problem rather than the moisturizer itself being bad, so what tends to work well for dry skin under makeup is looking for a moisturizer that leans on humectants like glycerin or hyaluronic acid combined with a lighter occlusive like squalane rather than heavy waxes or silicones, since that combination hydrates without leaving a residue that fights with foundation. For the under eye specifically, a separate eye cream with a thinner consistency and peptides for the delicate skin there is worth using before your main moisturizer since that area needs a different texture and ingredient profile than the rest of the face.

@xrileyjadex Kiehl's Since 1851 Mini Ultra Facial Refillable Moisturizing Cream with Squalane .95 oz / 28 mL is the best. I'm on tretinoin right now, so my skin is extra dry. But my skin just drinks this up and it's the only moisturizer I can confidently use under makeup, lol. 

I don't know if you're into toners, but I started using the LANEIGE Mini Cream Skin Milky Toner with Ceramides & Peptides for Nourishing Hydration 1.69 oz / 50 ... too and it has been a game changer. Especially for under my eyes. I'm starting to get fine lines, but they are way less noticeable when I use the milky toner + moisturizer under my makeup.
