2024 Skin Faves

Hey guys! Here are my 2024 Skincare Favorites! Thank you all for inspiring me so much!

Cleanser: Youth To The People Superfood Hydrating Gentle Antioxidant Refillable Cleanser - I really love how refreshing Youth to the People’s Kale Cleanser feels on my skin. It’s packed with antioxidants like kale, spinach, and green tea, which leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped. It removes makeup and impurities without drying me out, and my skin feels balanced afterward. I appreciate that it’s vegan and eco-friendly, but the herbal scent might be too strong for some, and it’s a bit pricey compared to drugstore options

Toner: LANEIGE Cream Skin Refillable Milky Toner with Ceramides and Peptides - The Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer is a dream for dry skin. It hydrates deeply while smoothing out my skin, and I love how it combines two steps into one. It’s creamy but absorbs quickly without being greasy. My skin looks plump and hydrated, especially in the winter. However, if you have oily skin, it might feel a bit heavy, so it’s better for those with dry or combo skin.

Moisturizer: Glossier After Baume Moisture Barrier Recovery Cream 1.7 oz / 50 mL - The Glossier After Baume is such a soothing, nourishing treat for my skin. It’s like a hug for my face after a long day, with a rich, buttery texture that melts in and leaves my skin feeling instantly soft and hydrated. It’s perfect for dry or sensitive skin, especially in the winter, as it really locks in moisture and calms any irritation. The scent is subtle and pleasant, and it doesn’t feel too heavy despite its creamy formula. My only issue is that it might be a bit too rich for oily skin, so if that’s you, this might be a bit much. But for those who need deep hydration, it’s a must-try.

Serum: Drunk Elephant B-Hydra™ Intensive Hydration Serum with Hyaluronic Acid 1.69 oz/ 50 mL - Drunk Elephant’s B-Hydra Serum is my go-to for lightweight hydration. It absorbs quickly, leaving my skin plump and radiant without feeling greasy. It’s great for layering with other products and works well on my combo skin. It’s a bit pricey, though, and if you have very dry skin, you might need something richer. Overall, it’s perfect for everyday moisture.

Sunscreen: #Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen Invisible Broad Spectrum SPF 50 PA +++ - Supergoop’s Unseen Sunscreen is a total game-changer. It goes on clear, with no white cast, and has a velvety finish that works beautifully under makeup. It’s oil-free, so it doesn’t clog my pores, and I love that it protects against both UVA and UVB. It’s a bit expensive, and the silicone-like texture might not be for everyone, but the formula is definitely worth the price. I love that they made a new SPF 50 one! I'll have to try that out!

Thank you guys so much for an amazing year! Let me know if you would like a makeup favorites post as well! I hope this helps and that you guys have had a great holiday season!

Re: 2024 Skin Faves

Thank you for the recommendation about the face cream. I do have sensitive skin because of the breakout. If I use too strong serum or face cream it doesn’t work for me. I’ll see if there’s a trial for this cream I can test it out.
