Foundation Match

So I have been having a problem with my foundation darkening after application. I have had 2 different associates at Ulta match my make up to the Estée Lauder 7W1 Deep Spice and prior the Becca Mahogany. But I struggle because not too long after applying my foundation it darkens in some spots if not all over. I have tried primers and finishing powders. I have also tried doing my face routine consisting of Cerave for oily skin as my skin tends to get oily throughout the day especially in this NC heat. I seen a suggestion to purchase a lighter shade that way if it darkens it’ll match. What suggestions do you guys have?

@kiache @Some foundations do oxidize. I would suggest going a shade or 2 lighter depending how dark yours is right now. 

Have you tried a face primer?
