Would you recommend putting on foundation or concealer first?

I have always put on my foundation than my concealer. I know that some women put on concealer before foundation? Is there a reason for this? Should I consider doing this? Thanks.

@HusbandsWifey For me I like putting foundation on and then concealer to cover up dark circles or blemishes. There isn’t a right or wrong way to do it just what works best for that person.

@HusbandsWifey , it depends on what you want to do? 🤷🏽‍♀️

Underpainting is usually when you apply concealer, blush, highlight and/or contour and then go over with foundation.  Another reason can be to spot conceal for a blemish, so you'd apply the concealer first, you let it dry and then go in... Honestly, the best way is the way that works for you.

It's a thoughtful question.   Also, play with makeup, it's a part of the fun for me, so usually trying things different ways will inform me.. Like I'll double down on my preferred way 😂 or realize the potential of a product that may have been a "miss" at first by applying it a new way
