Which corrector is better-Huda or Natasha Denona?

I have crazy dark circles. I have tried so many correctors and am still on the hunt for my HG. I want to try either the ND or Huda but don’t know which one to go with. Which of the two is your favorite?

I hadn’t thought of using a cream multi stick or blush. Great idea! I haven’t tried the CT one. I may have to give it a try.

Re: Which corrector is better-Huda or Natasha Denona?

@mrsw09 @I prefer Natasha of those two but neither are in my top products (I have intensely dark circles so I’ve tried a lot!)

right night, I’ve been very happy with the Givenchy Prisme Libre Skin-Caring Corrector Peach  ! Not drying, doesn’t do a ton of settling, plays well with other products. I also really like NARS Radiant Creamy Liquid Color Corrector  . It’s not as high coverage but it’s great for day to day and the formula is super awesome . And of course the og Smashbox Smashbox X Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector Fair/Light  though as I’ve gotten older I do feel like it settled a little

Re: Which corrector is better-Huda or Natasha Denona?

@mrsw09  Hmm, I haven’t tried either NATASHA DENONA Hy-Glam Brightening & Hydrating Medium to Full Coverage Crease Proof Serum Color Corrector C4  or HUDA BEAUTY #FauxFilter Brightening Under Eye Color Corrector . Instead, I use Live Tinted Huestick Color Corrector shade Rise, which works well for my dark circles. Which one’s best for you depends on your personal preferences of things like product thickness, texture, scent (if any), etc.

Note that a good color corrector should cancel out (neutralize) another color, rather than turn your skin the color of the corrector. I sometimes use a green color corrector on my nose to neutralize redness, without making my nose obviously green. Same goes for undereye concealer: the one I use does a good job of neutralizing darkness without turning that skin a bold orange. A corrector’s job isn’t so much to cover discoloration as it is to neutralize it. Under my eyes, I use concealer in addition to corrector so I can brighten that skin. But on my nose, sometimes the corrector’s all I really need.

Re: Which corrector is better-Huda or Natasha Denona?

@WinglessOne @I’ve never heard of the live one but it looks really interesting! I’m always on the hunt for the best one haha

Re: Which corrector is better-Huda or Natasha Denona?

@Kim888  Remember the woman who started a trend of using red lipstick as undereye color corrector 5-10 years ago? Live Tinted is her brand. Her Huestick Correctors are, thankfully, not the same heavy cream texture as most cream lipstick. 😄 Live Tinted also makes my current favorite concealer and it plays nice with the color corrector.

Re: Which corrector is better-Huda or Natasha Denona?

@WinglessOne Have you tried their colour correctors? What are your thoughts on them? Do you find them to be drying at all?

Re: Which corrector is better-Huda or Natasha Denona?

@JoSometimes  Live Tinted’s color corrector? Yep, I use shade Rise, which works well for my undereye discoloration. The corrector’s a solid retractable stick that’s easy and convenient to apply and travel with. It has a very lightweight texture that’s smooth and creamy but not thick. It’s very easy to blend out so my undereyes don’t end up looking bold orange. And concealer sits well atop it, whether it’s Live Tinted’s concealer, DIOR Dior Forever Skin Correct Full-Coverage Concealer 4.5 Neutral  , KVD Beauty Good Apple Lightweight Full-Coverage Concealer  , etc.

The Huesticks—either the Correctors or the Lip & Cheek Multisticks—can also be used as lipstick and blush; both types of Huestick have the same INCI list. I haven’t used my corrector for anything but color correction, but I could probably easily build Rise up to an orange terracotta blush. I could also buy one of the Huesticks marketed as multi-use and use it a a color corrector, if one of the 3 Corrector shades didn’t work well fo me.

Re: Which corrector is better-Huda or Natasha Denona?

@WinglessOne Thanks for the thorough review! I saw it before but never pulled the trigger. I don’t have dark circles. I was going to use it to colour correct my beard shadow. I started off using the lipstick trick but it was so thick and heavy feeling. Then I switched to a cream blush but sometimes it ended up being a little drying and the skin around my mouth looked tight. I’m hoping this will do the trick.

Re: Which corrector is better-Huda or Natasha Denona?

@mrsw09 I don’t have much experience with either. I was wondering if you’ve tried colour correcting underneath your concealer? It’ll help neutralize the discolouration so your concealer won’t have to work as hard and you won’t need to apply as much.

Re: Which corrector is better-Huda or Natasha Denona?

I have tried other color correctors, but just haven’t found my HG yet. Thank you both for the replies!😊
