What is my undertone?

Hi there!

I’m kinda ashamed to say this but I’ve never been able to accurately find my shade or undertone, I have a light medium concealer with neutral undertones but i don’t know if it really fits me.

what would you say my shade and undertone are? Please give me recs from certain brands if possible, thank you! 🫶🏻

@sofizzmn18 It’s so hard to tell from a photo online. There’s so many factors like the lighting in the car that day, your phone’s camera settings, my screen settings… There’s a few tests you can do like gold vs silver jewelry or what colour your veins appear to be. If you’re really not sure, head to your local Sephora or beauty counter and ask the associates there for some help. They can help you find your skin tone and even shade match you.

i did the gold and silver jewellery test, in addition to the vein colour check ( I have both blue and green veins) but I’m still not too sure. 
i actually came online since all my trips to get shade matched in Sephora ended in failure. I go in, they shade match and it looks perfect in store, the second I go out I look way too dark and orange.

i will try again sometime, maybe I’ll have more luck!

@sofizzmn18 If it looks orange on you, it might be that you need something neutral or cool toned. It might also mean going a shade lighter. Sephora’s return policy is pretty relaxed, so if you take it home and it doesn’t look right, just bring it back.

Sometimes, I like to swatch products and leave the store to check it in different lighting.
