Wedding Foundation!

Hey ladies! I’m getting married next month (woohoo!) & I’m trying to find the perfect foundation! I’m looking for something for a hot, outdoor wedding that will LAST all night, and NOT give me flashback. I have skin that’s more on the oily side, and definitely fighting some acne currently, so I’m needing some coverage! I use the Laura Mercier setting powder and the Tarte shape tape concealer, which I know are not problems, as they’re great and have no flashback. So I’m mainly worried about foundation.

Things I've tried that don’t work for me:

-Estee Lauder double wear (horrible flashback and too stiff/unnatural)

-Makeup For Ever HD (because I know this one is usually recommended, it just breaks up on me and doesn’t last)

-Fenty

-Wet & Wild photo focus

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Re: Wedding Foundation!

I have two suggestions: Cover FX Power Play Foundation and Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation. They both last for hours. I didn’t have flashback issues with either that I know of.

Re: Wedding Foundation!

Im also getting married soon and have tried many foundations...Did not like MUFE....I tried  Born this Way... but too difficult to apply on mature skin...Smashbox Studio skin is awesome.....Good coverage without being greasy or too dry. Also Giorgio Armani luminous foundation...Use a good primer and I recommend Laura Mercier powder and Urban decay all nighter setting spray.Congratulations on your wedding.

Re: Wedding Foundation!

I wish I could help, but I used Make Up For Ever Ultra HD for my own wedding and I see that didn't work for you.

I will say, I tested MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - Re(marc)able Full Cover Foundation Concentrateand I found the coverage absolutely incredible while remaining lightweight. It was just too dry for my dry skin, so it may work for you if you're oilier. If you're near a sephora and can try a sample, I'd really recommend it!!
