Translucent powder, setting powder, microfinihing powder, regular powder, the difference?

Hi, I was wondering the difference i between a translucent powder a setting powder microfinishing powder etc like do they all do different things? I recently bought the allstars sephora favorites set and it comes with an HD micro-finishing powder by makeup forever and Kat Von D setting powder and i was wondering the difference in the two

I use the MOFE HD setting powder under my eyes, but people advise it shows up bad in pictures. Mine is always fine.

So basically a setting powder is what you use to set your liquid products (under eye concealer) and a finishing powder is supposed to smooth out any lines or texture and make the skin look even as a "finishing" touch. Finishing powder isn't necessary but gives a nice look to the skin.
