Summer to winter foundation

Hello beauties!

So I live in Canada. We get snow and in the winter I get quite pale. I normally use Estee Lauder Double Wear liquid foundation that comes in a compact. The shade is 2c2. So I almost ran out (it was a miracle that I didn't and still haven't. I was pumping nothing and freaking out bc everywhere was sold out! but after some makeup surgery i found that there is still plenty in there) and I bought Sephora Ivory shade. I tried it on last night and it looks great but it is a lot paler that what I normally wear. I don't want to just switch because everyone is going to wonder how I got so pale all of a sudden. They are both liquid foundations. Can i mix them together and gradually work to the paler shade? Or should I just use the paler shade?

Re: Summer to winter foundation

so my favorite foundations right now are loreal true match (drugstore) and lancome teint miracle foundation. they both leave your skin feeling like skin still- soft not a layer of plastic. but the lancome does feel lighter and goes on so insanely smooth. it just has a big price tag- so i usually use true match.

@ntusque You can totally mix foundations together to get your desired shade! Just pour some out on the back of some type of palette (I always use the top of a bath and body works candle haha) and mix them up if they are liquid or if they are more of a cream or solid just give your face a few dots of each before blending out. Not all foundations play well together but give it a try and you'll know within the first day if they didn't work together.
