Perfect foundation match

So I recently bought the nars light reflecting foundation and tried it, I like how it feels on the skin but I'm afraid it might be too yellow, I couldn't tell with the lighting in my house. And I was wondering if I should go a shade lighter or keep the same shade and work with it
