Non-drying translucent powder

I was using the KVD translucent powder on Tarte Amazonian foundation and if made my skin feel dried up and almost stiff, without it it feels so nice and light. Is there another translucent powder that wouldn’t feel so drying or is this foundation just better without setting powder?

RE: Non-drying translucent powder

Honestly, I've found the Amazonian Clay foundation to be pretty mattifying overall, so unless you have super oily skin, I wouldn't really worry with a powder. That being said, the Too Faced Ethereal powder is pretty awesome and doesn't dry out my combination skin too much

RE: Non-drying translucent powder

The kvd would do the same to me so I had to switch. I started to use laura mercier which it does work and is on drying but I'm allergic to her products so I had to switch. I've used urban decay velvetizer and that has been working for me ever since.

i never used powder until a month ago. honestly it makes me look worse. it creates dry patches. i have Laura mercier which is supposed to be rhe best and studio makeup which is great too. They just aren't great for me. If it makes matters worse ditch it. if you are gonna use it anyway, i suggest too cool for school gel mist, spray it when you are feeling overly dry and it will refresh your skin.

I really like Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Setting powder. Laura Mercier makes a nice one too, but I can't remember the name of it. Also Bareminerals Mineral Veil setting powder comes in a translucent powder and works nicely
