My foundation looks cakey

Hello! I am in need of some advice, I currently use two different "skin tints". I love the glow/dewy look plus light coverage, I have the Lilia skin tint and Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter. Whenever I put any of the skin tints on, my face looks cakey/dry (I use a little of the charlotte tilbury setting powder). I always exfoliate and double cleanse, I also use the Bobbi Brown primer and the Tatcha Dewy moisturizer. For cleansers, I use cerave  (hydrating), the peach and lily glass skin kit (sometimes)  and inky list (oat cleansing balm). Could anyone give me any advice on what to do?

Re: My foundation looks cakey

does it look “cakey” or does it look like its breaking up, bc sometimes it could be the foundation breaking up. if youre using the tatcha moisturizer and the bobbi brown vitamin enriched face base without giving it time to absorb, it could really cause the base product to break apart since the two you mentioned are also on the oily side. so if youre layering both moisturizers, your oily tint/base then a powder—-the powder is breaking up on top of all your other products. what is your skin type? honestly you can get away with just using the BB face base as your moisturizer AND primer. ultimately, i would try using less product underneath the makeup.

@marielrosexoxo @It could be your skincare. Maybe one or more of the items isn’t working with your skin type.
