Mixing CC cream & foundation

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge in regards to mixing a CC cream w/ a foundation (specifically a mattifying foundation)? I'm thinking about buying IT Cosmetics your skin but better CC cream and CoverFX power play foundation to mix together to hopefully get the benefits of the SPF, lighter coverage, & skinlike texture from CC cream & transfer resistance, sweat resistance, matte, & cooler undertones that I need from the matte foundation. I just have no idea if mixing these two products would be a good or bad idea, and I can't find much info about it online. HELP! PS if you recommend other products please know that I have oily/combination skin, cruelty & paraben-free & definitely lean towards a cool undertone. Thank you!

Personally I would think mixing a CC cream and a foundation would be over-kill, @Mollyk3,. But regardless, I definitely wouldn't try it with the IT CC as that is a full-coverage, heavy foundation itself.
