Looking for my unicorn foundation

Hi Everyone,

I’ve been on the hunt for my unicorn foundation for a long time (I call it my unicorn foundation because it probably doesn’t exist lol). What I’m looking for is:

- Full coverage 

- Light weight

- Luminous finish (I’d like to have a matte one on hand too if possible)

- For dry to normal skin

- Doesn’t crease in fine lines (fine lines and uneven pigment are my biggest issues)

- Waterproof (I sweat around my chin area and around the sides of my nose on my cheeks which breaks up my makeup)

- 8 hours + wear time

Right now I’m using L’Oréal True Match Lumi in Porcelain/light ivory W1-2 for a more glowy appearance. It does work well with underpainting, but overall I’d like something a bit more full coverage. I use the elf power grip primer with this one.  For my matte I’m using the Hourglass Vanish Seamless Foundation stick in Alabaster, which is really good, but the stick formula is a bit thick for me. I use the Smash Box photo finish or another silicone based primer like elf poreless primer.

If this makes any difference, the powder foundation I use is MAC studio fix in NW20. And for skin prep I use all The Ordinary, squalene cleanser, hyaluronic acid, saccharomyces fermented milky toner, cold-pressed rose hip seed oil, and their moisturizer.

hi! after doing a bit of research, I think that a good match for you would be the Nars natural radiant long wear foundation. 🙂 it has full coverage, a radiant finish, and it is long lasting. it also seems like it would be good for dry/mature skin. hope this helps!
