Looking for Primer recommendations!

I have fairly dry skin and recently bought the Embryolisse moisturizer. I know many makeup artists use it as a primer and it glides nice on my skin but I see that it kind of extenuates my texture. I like the SEPHORA COLLECTION Smooth + Blur Primer but it is a little too dry and sometimes makes my skin look flaky. I've also tried the MILK Grip primers and I find them a little too sticky.

Side note: I use MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation but I am looking for a new go-to foundation especially if I can find one that works well with my new primer 🙂

@rykk Moisturizer is a great way to prime and if it works for you, keep going. If the texture bothers you, focus more on your skincare to smooth it out. You might just need to exfoliate to smooth out your skin. Your makeup will only ever look as smooth as the skin it’s on.

@rykk I have combo skin more on the dry side and love using Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Blur Face Primer Blur Primer Gold
