RE: Laura Mercier Setting Powder

Yasss I have it in the darker shade for my skin color and I love it just to set my foundation

RE: Laura Mercier Setting Powder

Translucent loose is great!

Re: Laura Mercier Setting Powder

Hi @Rory123,

I use it everyday to set my foundation and keep me matte. It lasts forever and I love applying it with the puff that is sold separate or a flat top buffing brush. I hope this helps!

Best Wishes,

Janean

Thank you so much these replies have been very helpfu!

RE: Laura Mercier Setting Powder

@Rory123 I love it. I’m a deep tone so it also helps with the color of my foundation

Re: RE: Laura Mercier Setting Powder

Hey @KNC24, do you use it under the eye to set concealer (Not bake)? I'm trying to decide between the translucent powder and the secret brightening powder. The secret brightening powder is the same price than the mini but with half the product!

Re: RE: Laura Mercier Setting Powder

@Aaliaa I don’t use it to bake. My skill level isn’t there yet. Lol

Re: Laura Mercier Setting Powder

@Rory123 I use her translucent loose setting powder and love it. Really keeps me matte and sets the foundation. If you're on the fence, try the mini size. It's $23 and worth the money and comes with a cute puff for application.

Re: Laura Mercier Setting Powder

@Rory123 I used the Invisible Pressed Powder and really like it.  I love that it's kind of a one shade fits all.  Plus, I think it sets foundation well.  I do agree that it can feel drying, but that's also what I like about it b/c it doesn't leave my face with that wet foundation feel.  I prefer applying it with a brush than the pad, of course.  So happy a SA turned me onto this!

RE: Laura Mercier Setting Powder

I love it, but it’s very drying so be careful. I don’t bake with it, i just push it into the skin with a damp B.B.
