Kat Von D new lock it concealer vs old one

Hi, I really hope someone can help answer my question. My daughter absolutely loved the Kat Von D lock it concealer, the one that’s discontinued. I’ve tried twice now to buy her the new concealer and one time I got way too dark, the next time way too light. For the past year she’s been combing the two to a shade that somehow matches her skin a little bit lol. I’m hoping someone can tell me what shade I should get her if she was using the old lock it concealer in Light 16- light complexion with a pink undertone.

@PeggyLouWho   She’s already doing what I would have suggested by mixing to create her perfect shade. Since light 16 was a cool toned pink shade the easiest way to do this would be to get the next shade darker of pink (or cool toned)concealer and mix a white base into it until it’s her exact match.   

she could also try for a close yet neutral concealer and add some pink base to cool it down.

I would just take her to a Sephora store to get colour matched! KVD brand has quite a few shades.
