Kat Von D Lock It foundation

Recently, I’ve been using NYX Total Control Drop foundation in Alabaster (warm alabaster), and NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop in Porcelain (porcelain with neutral undertone). Both shades are some of the lightest shades in each range, and work for me both by themselves and mixed without oxidizing too dark/reddish. However, I’m looking to go back to KVD Lock It. A couple years ago, I was matched to Light 48, the second to last shade of the “Light” range. Though, when it oxidized, it seemed to be just a tad too dark/reddish compared to my neck. So my question is: Do I get the same shade and maybe mix it with Light 41 or 42 to lighten it? Or should I try a lighter neutral, or maybe a light cool toned one, or get a lighter neutral and mix it with a cool toned shade?

Is 42 super pinky? Or is it more neutral? I’m trying to figure out if I should get 41 or 42 to mix with 48

Thanks! Good to know! I currently have the NYX cosmetics Can’t Stop Won’t Stop in Porcelain on my face, its neutral but leans more pink, and despite having both pink and yellow undertones, it seems to be a good shade for me, it hasn’t seemed to have oxidized too pink on my jawline. So maybe 42 by itself, or maybe even 44 would work well for me.

It does! Maybe I can get 48 and 42 and mix a bit of 42 with it. Thanks!
