Kat Von D Lock It Foundation

Hi I'm looking for suggestions on what primers/ setting powders to use with Kat Von D's Lock It Foundation.  I have oily skin and the foundation is a bit heavy but I love the coverage it gives.

I love to use the Smashbox Primerizer primer with my KVD Lock-It foundation! I found that none of my other primers were hydrating enough. This primer makes my skin smooth and supple and doesn’t leave it feeling tight or dry.

I’m weirdly in the opposite boat. Love the coverage, but I have some dry areas on my face where it pills. Someone told me today that I should be looking for a water based primer, since Kat Von D has silicone in it. Hope that helps a little!

I like Laura Merciers ‘Foundation Primer’ and Translucent Powder. 🤗

You may want to try Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Longwear Setting Powder Translucent or Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Makeup Setting Spray Standard Size - 4 oz/ 118 mL both of these work very well. I hope that this helps!
