How do you open Laura mercier loose powder???

Finally got this in the mail and I'm sitting here on my bed with a cut finger, knife, scissors, tweezers & NOTHING is working! I'm starting to get mad I just want to use it already and there are no videos or anything online explaining how to open it .. only how to get the sifter out but that's not what I need!!!

The sticky plastic part only covers the holes. I use a fine point tweezer to peel it off @Mackaybitch

Did anyone figure this out? I cannot open it and I am really struggling... Been four days and tried everything and I cannot open the container. Very upsetting.

 The protective cover is small. It basically only covers the holes. So, don’t go to the outside area. Stay in the center to find small tab and lift. No  scissors or sharp objects needed. 🙂
