Help!

  • Hi

I use Dior foundation stick , but it transfers a lot. Please recommend something that can help. I used everything spray but nothing worked

Re: Help!

@billingdaman  You’ll never get that Dior foundation stick (or really any foundation) to be 100% transfer-proof, no matter how you set it. That’s just the nature of foundation in general: always expect at least a little transfer to happen.

But if you’re getting lots of transfer: do you use a primer under that foundation? Maybe something grippy like MILK MAKEUP Hydro Grip Hydrating Makeup Primer with Hyaluronic Acid + Niacinamide, e.l.f. Power Grip Primer, etc. I don’t know how those primers would work with Dior’s foundation stick or your skin type/behavior, so you’d probably wanna test a sample or mini size if possible.

Re: Help!

@billingdaman how are you applying it? Maybe try applying some product on the back of your hand and using a brush or sponge to blend it in. Also, make sure you're letting your skincare and SPF fully set before using it. SPF can affect foundation since some create a film on  your skin to protect you from the sun.

Re: Help!

Thank you girl ❤️ I will try

Re: Help!

@billingdaman what face primer, setting powder and setting spray do you use?

Re: Help!

I use one size loose powder, Milani spray, I tried charollette too but that also didn’t work

Re: Help!

@billingdaman it could be due to your skincare, the foundation not compatible with your skin type or the products you are setting it with. Maybe start switching some things around and see what works. It’s going to be trial and error. Have you tried another foundation?
