Help color my face please

I just died my hair from blonde to dark brown It's drastic but I'm enjoying it. However my go to make up face I think now need some kind of bronzer . I've always sucked at bronzer and avoid it. Picture of me just taken on break for reference (I say this so you know nothings been touched in 8 hours! Please give any tips on a bronzer and application technique to try if you can. I use liquid foundation-teint idole, ivory from lancome Today I did put on some bronzer from ciate London but not sure it's right color for me.

RE: Help color my face please

Have you tried cream contour as a bronzer? Thats something you could look into. Also, you could try simply putting a darker foundation everywhere that you would contour. For powder bronzer, I think you'd like the benefit hoola or benefit hoola lite. For just a simple bronze and color, use a big powder brush and sweep it all over your temples, forehead, jawline, nose, and cheekbones. For a deeper contour and definition, use a smaller brush and take your time applying and blending it out.

Re: Help color my face please

Hi! I would try Wet n Wild Color Icon in "Reserve your Cabana". It's my everyday, long lasting bronzer, and it's only $5!!! If you're looking for something from a non-drugstore brand, I'd try Hoola Lite; regular Hoola is orange on most skin tones. For application, I do the following:

1. Dip a medium sized fluffy brush into the bronzer

2. Tap off the excess (2-3 light taps normally does the trick)

3. Start at the area right above your ear and follow the natural hollow of your cheek (girl, do NOT suck in your cheeks because that'll make your bronzer look like a stripe on your face).

4. Blend using circular motions, but don't bring your bronzer below your natural hollow otherwise it'll look muddy and elongate your face in a very unsexy way.

5. Lastly, fully diffuse the first layer before adding more (way easier to add than it is to take away).

Hope this helped!!!

RE: Re: Help color my face please

I’m similar to you in hair color and complexion, and I️ love the following bronzers for my skin type. I️ tend to use more cool tones bronzers, as warm tones can look orange on my skin, especially in contrast with my light skin and dark hair. My fave bronzers are: • hourglass ambient diffused light bronzer • physicians formula butter bronzer • Too Faced milk chocolate soleil • Marc Jacobs Tantastic (but I️ think this one was limited edition) • Benefit Hoola bronzer To apply I️ use a natural hair or super fluffy bronzer brush — and sweep it on the hollows of my cheeks, on my temples and forehead and under my jaw, and a little on my neck.
