Healing scars or dark spots

I have eczema and this has caused a lot of scarring. It seems like I’ve tried everything. Anyone know a way to reduce dark spots and scarring that has actually worked for them?

Healing scars or dark spots

Alpha arbutin, vitamin c, and exfoliating pads. try Burts Bees Dark Spot corrector and ordinary alpha arbutin. Fab facial radiance pads gently exfoliate with licorice root too.

Re: Healing scars or dark spots

Krysa 13 is very right! Vitamin C serum is your new best friend. For two years I've been battling deep, cystic acne and as of the last two months it has cleared up. Therefore I've been left with terrible dark spots and scars all along my cheekbones, chin, and temples. Obviously you're probably in search of products that Sephora sells, hence the fact that you posted here, but out of the many Vitamin C serums I've tried (from Sephora and else where) my all time favorite that has faded all my dark spots and most of my scars (except for my super deep ones) is the vitamin c serum by the brand Mad Hippie. The ingredients consist of vitamin c, ferulic acid, vitamin e, hyaluronic acid, and so much more. Unlike some vitamin c serums, this one is active and in a special bottle that protects it from light (in order to maintain its strength and effectiveness). Here is a link! I hope this helps! https://www.madhippie.com/products/vitamin-c-serum

Re: Healing scars or dark spots

I attack my dark and red spots massively with a vitamin C serum ( I like Drunk Elephant, but it is pricey and maybe I will find cheaper options) and azelaic acid from The Ordinary in the morning, and with niacinamide from The Ordinary in the evening. The improvement is by no means a dramatic overnight change, but slow and steady does it.

I've had the best results using chemical exfoliants and oils. Glycolic and lactic acid are best. physical scrubs sometimes irritate my skin, so a serum, gel, or toner with chemical exfoliants is a gentler way for me to fade scarring. I love using oils/serums from Leahlani skincare (not sold at Sephora, but they have a website and their stuff is amazing). The niacinamide serum from the ordinary also helps reduce redness from scarring

RE: Healing scars or dark spots

I find color correcting before foundation helps (personally I prefer a cream over a powder corrector under my foundation) then going in with concealer on those small trouble spots ) I have eczema too so I’m also interested in what other suggest too 🙂
