Great Full Coverage Liquid Foundations!!

Currently have been using the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Liquid Foundation and I LOVE IT, but the bottle doesn’t last me long, and I can’t justify spending that premium price for much longer. Any great full/ buildable coverage liquid foundations that are a little easier on the wallet and last?

I also agree with the suggestion that if you aren’t using a beauty blender, or something similar, you definitely should. I see a dramatic difference in the amount of product I use when using one vs. when using a foundation brush to blend. Plus I can build up more coverage as I need it with using just a tiny bit more product at a time. That being said, I bounce around with my foundations, none of which are likely less cheaper than yours - Hourglass Immaculate Foundation, CoverFX Matte Finish Foundation and Philosophy Miracle Worker Foundation - There are a couple of others but none worth mentioning that I use that frequently. But let me ask, have you considered using a stick foundation?? I know for example both the Hourglass and CoverFX have a stick foundation (not a concealer) that may last longer? Or are you opposed to powders like Bare Minerals? I have used that in the past and the containers would last me forever, with plenty of buildable coverage.

Born this way. Too faced. Outstanding.

@MarePaul I love Estée Lauder Double Wear and Lancôme Teint Idole but also agree with you that they are pricey.  I’ve found that Maybelline fit me matte and poreless is very similar in coverage and is equally long lasting.  Another good drugstore foundation is L’Oréal infalliable pro matte.

Maybe your foundation could be stretched by using less absorbent tools like a silicone applicator or your hands for the initial all over application before going over with your brushes, damp booty blenders, or Beauty Blender to get the finish.

I initially pump the product onto the back of my hand and then use a finger to dot the foundation on and then use a foundation brush to spread the product from the center of my face outward. You feel as though maybe a different technique would make the product last a little longer?

RE: Great Full Coverage Liquid Foundations!!

Possibly. I just think about all of the foundation I see going down the drain every time I wash my brushes. Sounds like your technique is already pretty efficient. Not sure why Lancôme went with that kind of packaging. My Kat Von D & Urban Decay have the airless pump. There’s also tiny spatulas out there just for getting every drop of product if you haven’t already heard of it! I’ve even seen someone demolish a bottle to get all of their foundation. My apologies for the gap in reply no notifications
