Glossier vs Summer Fridays skin tint

I'm debating whether to get Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint for Dewy Sheer Coverage  or Summer Fridays Sheer Skin Tint with Hyaluronic Acid + Squalane  and had a few questions 🙂

I've already tried the Glossier and like how well it blends into my skin and how it felt like wearing nothing. I read that SF is very similar and I like how it has hyaluronic acid and squalene as the winter has been very drying on my skin this year. Though not sure if it makes much of a difference?

I'm also a G9 in the Glossier and was not sure which shade to try in SF. Does anyone have any experience with comparisons?

Finally, how well does this get absorbed into the skin? Will it rub off a lot on N-95 masks?

I thought I'd update this thread because I bought both! G9 in Glossier, 3 in Summer Fridays.

They are quite similar and straight out of the tube, it's difficult to tell them apart.

• G is more neutral. SF definitely has a yellow cast but otherwise matches decently. Obviously with a tint, it's going to blend in easily.
• G barely has any coverage but it does make a difference. It sort of smooths everything out in appearance. SF is still very sheer but takes redness down a little bit and is a bit buildable. It also has this great, gentle blurring effect.
• G clings to dry skin a bit less than SF.
• I don't find the G to be more drying than SF even though it has alcohol.
• G leaves hardly any marks in a tight fitting N-95. SF will transfer a little. Neither will transfer like foundation though.

I think if I were forced to choose I'd pick G because of the lack of transferring in masks. Otherwise, a slight preference for SF.

I have the SF in shade 4 and I used the Glossier tint years ago. Unfortunately I don't have it anymore but I used shade G8 (and concealer G9). I do think SF has a little bit more coverage and I find it a little buildable in terms of coverage.

I prefer the ingredients on the SF. Glossier has alcohol so not sure that will work well with your drier skin. It could make it worse.

In terms of transfer, I find that anything that is not matte will transfer to a mask. It's not too bad this one (Saie skin tint transferred so much more).

SF in shade 4 is a true olive/neutral shade. Not yellow or orange at all.
