Foundation

Hi All!

I love makeup but am still exploring how products work with my skin.

One product I have a hard time matching is foundation. I'd go to a store and try foundation out and think it matches perfectly, but then find out later that it oxidizes 3-4 shades darker, and my skin becomes oily.

What tips do you have to help find perfecting shades?

Is the only option to try it out on my hand, and come back hours later to see it how it set?

Would oil absorbing sheets be the best option for oil control? Does it help or take off product?

Appreciate anyones input!

Re: Foundation

I had this problem. I found the Kat Von D Lock it Foundation to work really well with my skin and stay true to the color. You can always google foundations that oxidize and which dont, there is a lot of information out there. Also, when I started out I had someone try to help me match me with my shade because it was hard for me to tell with all the different skin undertones.
