Fenty or Tarte Amazonian Clay

Wondering whether to get the Fenty foundation or Tarte Amazonian clay. Oily, very fair skin, no at all break-out prone, and I want as matte as possible but that provides a good surface for blush, contour, highlight, etc. Also taking suggestions for best designer blush for fair skin. Thanks

Between the two I would hands down go with Fenty - I found that Tarte separated off my skin and got patchy during the times when I’m more oily and was better for me in winter when I tend to lean more dry.

RE: Fenty or Tarte Amazonian Clay

I have used both fenty and tarte Amazonian clay, and I would prefer the fenty. I have dry skin, so it might be different for you, but when I used tarte it would actually burn my face when I applied it. I love fenty, and I’ve heard it works better for girls with more combination skin, so it might be great for you! I hope this helps you

Hi @Anonymous

I’ve been using the Fenty Foundation for about half a year now and quite like it. I have oily skin and find it provides good medium coverage without looking or feeling heavy. My face is noticeably less shiny when using it. There is a slight fragrance to it but I don’t find it to be overpowering (kind of like vanilla?) I did not experience any breakouts with this foundation either.

@Anonymous Leaving my thoughts on the Fenty foundation on oily skin. I personally don't think it's suitable for oily skin as I have oily skin and it doesn't help keep my face matte for too long. Within a few hours, I have to blot the excess oil off my skin. If you're open to looking at other foundations besides the Tarte or Fenty, I would highly suggest you look at Estee Lauder's Double Wear foundation. That truly is a great foundation for people with oily skin. I will link it down below for you to take a look at just in case 😉
