FOUNDATION HELP FOR OLIVE SKIN TONES. 👍🏼

it’s soooo hard for me to find a foundation for my light-medium olive skintone and combination skin. so y’all olive skin tones what works best for you?

I have a medium olive skin tone and the struggle is real. The brands that cater to olive skin tones have shades with yellow/warm undertones. I've tried a million foundations and the brands NARS, BareMinerals, Bobbi Brown, Giorgio Armani and most recently CoverFx are a great place to start.

CoverFx recently launched their new COVER FX - Power Play Foundation with olive shades. The G+ shades are the olive tones. I've personally used this foundation and since I have oily skin, I appreciate the matte finish as well. 

Also, I highly recommend going to your nearest Sephora store for a foundation match. It's really hard to match foundation shades yourself and it's always best to get a second or even third opinion. Plus, you can request samples to take home so you can see how they wear throughout the day.

I have the same issue and the best ones I have found are the Coverfx power play foundations(look for the plus sign beside the number) and make up for ever Ultra HD foundations. I also have to set my foundation with either a translucent or slightly yellow setting powder.

I am always looking for the perfect foundation for olive skin! I have medium to olive skin with golden undertones. I agree that Cover FX makes some of the best for that shade range. Huda and Nars also have some great olive foundation shades. Nars (Stromboli).

I had the best results with the KVD foundation and the Tarte Water Foundation!

@noomies Fenty has the best selection of olive undertones. I’m tan/olive and 360 is my perfect match.

@noomies Have you tried foundations from Stellar? I use the S01 color, which works very well for my light olive skin.

I have an olive skin tone that's mostly pretty pale in the winter and super tan in the summer so it's difficult to find foundation. I find that anything that's light/medium with neutral undertones works best for me.

Right now, I'm loving the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion foundation in cashew. I have extremely oily skin as well so I tend to go for mattefying foundations.
