Complexion Advice & Recommendations

What light is best for helping with inflammation from ingrown hair and acne dark spots? 💕

Re: Complexion Advice & Recommendations

I consider the best light for inflammation from ingrown hair and acne dark spots is red light therapy (RLT). RLT is a non-invasive treatment that uses red light to reduce inflammation and promote healing.

So how it works: RLT increases the production of collagen and elastin, which are proteins that help to repair damaged skin. It also reduces inflammation and increases blood flow to the treatment area. This can help to improve the appearance of ingrown hairs and acne dark spots.

Note! If you are considering using RLT to treat ingrown hairs or acne dark spots, it is better to talk to your dermatologist first.

As I know, I recommend using the device as directed by the manufacturer, treating the affected area for 10-20 minutes each day, and continue treatment for several weeks or until you see results.
Avoid using RLT on broken skin*
