Blemishes and dark spots

Can someone please give me some ideas on how to get rid of the dark spots?! What product?

Re: Blemishes and dark spots

I had discoloration from blemishes (in my youth) and melasma, in addition to sun spots as I'm in my mid-40's.  What I learnt from my Dermatologist and Aesthetician was: you need to be really diligent and have a multi-pronged approach to:

* Exfoliate with AHAs + BHAs
* Lighten and lift pigment on more concentrated areas of concern with Retin-A + Hydroquinone (Professional and Rx Protocol)

One of the best OTC products that I've used also has FERULIC Acid, for Face and Around Eyes (Melasma) but you could use it to spot treat.

The Dr. Dennis Gross "Ferulic Acid + Retinol Brightening Solution" is a targeted serum for the full face that Sephora no longer has in inventory, but I recommend it highly.

You can still purchase the matching Eye Serum and use it as a spot treatment - it's the same product range.

Re: Blemishes and dark spots

Hi! I suffer from these too, post acne marks. I like the Murad spot lightening treatment or the Peace Out dark mark patches. I agree try adding in a vitamin C serum into your skincare too, this definitely helps. I like the Drunk Elephant combo minis. It's a great way to try both products at a fraction of the price of the full size to see if you like it. Good luck!

Hi @tommiebelk12345,

I recommend looking into a brightening serum to even out your skin tone. I recommend the DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma™ Vitamin C Day Serum
