Birthmark cover up

Can any one recommend a good full coverage foundation? I've got a red birthmark covering half my face and neck and would like something waterproof (or close to).

Re: Birthmark cover up

Color correct with something GREEN first, then use whichever medium-full coverage foundation you like. You will not get too far without color correcting first babe.

Re: Birthmark cover up

I have a pink birthmark on my forehead/upper eye area. I've also had a lot of trouble finding things that are natural enough to not look cakey. So far the best thing I've tried that works for me is the Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Correcting Cream by IT Cosmetics with Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer. KA SSE is the most natural full coverage concealer I've tried so far (I personally don't like matte finish foundation), but I find it not enough on it's own and paired with the BBR cream covers it completely. I also got the BBR cream as a set that came with a tiny kabuki brush that ended up being the best brush I've ever used to cover up my birthmark.

The only thing is KA SSE is oil based, so don't use it with a water based primer.

Kat von d lock-it foundation has a really good coverage. Considering people use it for tattoos I would think it could help you

hi! I also have a birth mark on my face. (only about a quarter sized red splotch on my forehead) although it's not as large as yours I can help! If your birthmark is pink or red you need to color correct it before applying any foundation. as the person before me said yes kat von d foundation has very high coverage but it is very thick. if you color correct well you could get away with many different full coverage foundations. let me know if this helps and If you need any suggestions.
