Best Foundation!?

Hey guys!

So I need help! I am an avid makeup wearer and am pretty advanced for being self-taught! I seem to never be able to find the perfect foundation for what I am looking to achieve. I am not a big foundation wearer, I use a foundation powder, concealer, and contour! However, I have always been on the search for a foundation that does not have too much coverage, a natural looking foundation. I've always wanted something more on the matte side because I do have combination skin that tends to get oily when I wear foundation!

Hi Marlainamarie! 

You didn't mention what you have used so pardon me if I suggest some repeats you've already tried. 

- Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation; Hourglass (liquid-powder formula, may be helpful since you say you use powders a lot)

- Porefection Foundation; Lorac (medium to full coverage, contains vitamins A and E)

- Light Wonder Foundation; Charlotte Tilbury (personal favourite as it evens out my skin tone but is very light in wear, hefty price, worth it for me)

- New York Fit Me Matte; Maybelline (this is the one everyone raves about, and it's a cheap price so it won't eat your wallet if it doesn't work)

- Studio Fix Fluid Foundation; MAC (buildable, and lightweight)

- Mat Velvet + Mattifying Foundation; Make Up For Ever (water resistant, evens skin tone)
