Beauty blender sponges

Is it just me or does anyone experience having black mold growing on their sponges?  I clean mine regularly and yet the sponge is filled with black.  It’s horrible

@Lickety Once there’s a tiny bit of mold, toss it. No amount of cleaning is going to remove it. I would also suggest wiping down where you store it with some bleach if possible or use a steam cleaner to kill any leftovers that might be lurking in the area.

I haven't had that issue either, @Lickety. How humid is the area where you keep them?

@Lickety @I have never had that happen. I lay mine out to dry for days until it is fully dry. I also don’t let it dry in the bathroom.
