Any tips for how to pick a concealer shade?

So I've tried the born this way concealer in a shade that was too light (seashell), but I loved the formula and want to get the right shade for me this time. I still have no clue what my undertone is. Any tips for how to pick the right shade/undertone for a concealer?

@MaddyJ8  what foundation do you use? If you look up your foundation shade and click on it, the description should state the undertone

Warm= golden= yellow

cool = pink

neutral= peach

Hi, thank you 🙂 So I actually don't use a foundation. I do use a tinted sunscreen though but it's shade just says "lightly tinted".

well that's more difficult then @MaddyJ8 😁 You want to look at your veins in natural light- it sometimes helps to take a picture so you can enlarge it and cut out things that make it hard to "see". If the veins in your arm look greenish blue- you have a yellow/warm undertone. If they look purple- blue you have a cool/pink undertone, if they just look blue it's neutral but the color differences are subtle so it can be hard to tell. Going to a makeup store or someone you know with a good eye for color and asking for help is probably your best bet.

Do you happen to know the brand of the tint you're using?

Ohhh I like that idea to look under natural light and take a photo. Thanks for the tips 🙂 I'm using Cotz moisturizing SPF. Thank you @Brutalitops !

@MaddyJ8try looking specifically below your wrists or neck, hands and face can have excess redness that makes it more confusing. And yeah that tint looks light enough that even  if you did know the undertone it probably wouldn't help, so pictures are going to be quickest route
