Strawberry skin

Hi my name is Trina! 

I have strawberry skin, and I wanted to know what kind of products you guys use to exfoliate your skin! I use naturial body wash with glycolic acid and I use a hand glove exfoliant. After my shower I apply the ordinary glycolic acid for extra moisture on my skin. I've learned that glycolic acid is beneficial for skin that has a lot of ingrowns, and strawberry skin. Please let me know if you have any other recommendations or experience difficulty finding products to use regarding strawberry skin.

- SEPHORA COLLECTION All Day Body Hydrator with Shea Butter 13.5 oz / 400 mL  

Both have worked very well for me.

Thanks Titian06! I have a similar problem and nothing is helping me. I recently visited Canadian Pharmacy Partner and am thinking about looking for gluconic acid. It helps a few of my friends and this problem is much less visible. I need to try it too

I’ve also dealt with strawberry skin and totally get the struggle with ingrowns and texture. Glycolic acid has definitely been a game changer for me too! I’ve used a combo of chemical and physical exfoliation like you—gloves plus glycolic or salicylic acid body washes.

Lately, I’ve been alternating between The Ordinary Glycolic Acid and Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant (especially after shaving), and it’s helped a ton with clogged pores. I also switched to using a fragrance-free moisturizer with urea or lactic acid after exfoliating—super hydrating and helps keep the skin smooth
