Re: Recommendations??

Hi, @MaddieB333,

I reacted very poorly to these products, I somehow got acne and dry skin from them. I don’t have your skin, so it may be different for you!

Just remember, these products function similarly, if not exactly the same as many lower price (like The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Oil Control Serum  and The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Hydrating Serum) and drugstore products. It’s a dupe!

I would recommend trying out a cheaper version of this product from The Ordinary, The Inkey List, or a drug store brand.
P.S. many dermatologists have said that teens and young adults don’t need serums, heavy creams, oils, toners, etc. We just need a  double cleanse, moisturizer, and SPF. They have also said that trendy or “preppy” skincare can actually do more harm than good on young skin, for example Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner 5.07 oz/ 150 mL or The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Exfoliating Peeling Solution 1 oz/ 30 mL. I have been doing a 3 step (cleanser, moisturizer, spf) routine and my skin is the clearest it’s ever been!

I don’t know your skin or situation, so this may or may not apply to you

Thanks for using BIC!

Re: Recommendations??

Sorry I am new to this whole community thing what does bic stand for lol

Re: Recommendations??

@MaddieB333 BIC Stands for Beauty Insider Community.  The forum you are on.

Re: Recommendations??

Thank you so much. I do have both of the ordinary serums I was just looking if there was any better options. I will definitely stick with those, and thank you for your advice again!💗
