KVD Powder Foundation Comparison

Hello Everyone!

I normally never wear foundation, but if I do, it's generally loose powder foundation.

I am looking at changing that to a compact powder foundation...my options that I am going back and forth with are the KVD Beauty Lock-It Finishing Powder or the KVD Lock-It Powder Foundation.  

I'm not a heavy makeup wearer, but when I do, I want it to make sure it covers well.  I am 42 years old, and my skin is definitely 42 as well.  I DETEST liquid foundation...I live in Arizona, so 9 months out of the year it's so warm that the liquid just melts right off and looks blotchy.  

Is it better to go with the powder foundation and touchup during the day, or the finishing powder and touchup during the day?  Honestly, I can't really tell what the difference is except for the shade options.

@daniphisig - The foundation powder will give you coverage like a liquid foundation.  You would pick a color that matches your skin tone.  A finishing powder will give you a dusting of powder with translucent coverage.  It's typically used after you complete you makeup to give you a finished look.  You would pick a shade that coordinates with your skin tone (translucent, light, medium, etc.).  It sounds like what you're looking for is the foundation powder.
