Foundation recommendation

Can someone please help me out? I have combination skin and it’s super super sensitive. I need some good recommendations for some foundations. Back in January I tried rare beauty and it caused a chemical burn that has now lead to server dermatitis. Once this goes away I need a new foundation. I just have 0 ideas on any. Theses are the ones I’ve tried so far that I’m allergic to( too face, urban decay, smash box, koasa, Maybelline, Cover girl, L’Oreal, and some nars ones I haven’t tried all of them.) I use to wear MAC and didn’t have problems I just dont want to spend the money on mac when I go through it so fast. Make up is my passion, before this I use to do my make up everyday, doing my make up would help me with my anxiety and since not being able to wear it, it’s been hard on me. If anyone has any ideas that would be amazing! I’m at a lost for words on it. I just don’t know where to even begin since my skin is so sensitive 😭😭

Re: Foundation recommendation

For all the ones you've tried, have you narrowed down the ingredient(s)? You are allergic too? That would help when your searching, you can check the ingredients list and hopefully avoid it in the future. A dermatologist might be a good idea to help you find the best products for your allergies. @CaelaSS

Re: Foundation recommendation

I haven’t narrowed it down to an ingredient yet sadly, that’s what I was s thinking I might have to do. Right now I’m in the process of moving but once I get settled in the state I’m moving to I was thinking about looking up a dermatologist to see what it could be. Since I still have a long road of recovery to go still

Re: Foundation recommendation

I definitely think a professional could be helpful and hopefully get you on the track to finding out what's going to work for you. It's a big chore, but with all the ingredients being online you could try to look for similarities in the ones you've tried but I know, right, that's a big investigation 🔎🔎

Re: Foundation recommendation

@CaelaSS Have you tried any Clinique products? Their line is supposed to be allergen friendly, no fragrances, and non-irritating. I personally haven’t used any of their foundations, but I really enjoy their eye products as my eyes are easily irritated and watery. The Clinique blushes and lips are some of my favorite color cosmetics, and I won’t use any other brand’s eyeliner. Same for makeup remover wipes - Clinique’s are the only ones I will use.

Re: Foundation recommendation

actually I haven’t even thought about trying them before!  I sometimes forget about them! I definitely need to look into them! Thank you for suggesting them! Now I can research them and get a sample to try!
