Foundation pooling into pores

I've tried several foundations and primers, and after a few hours I have small white polka dots on my skin..especially on my nose and chin. I have an oily t-zone, but dry on the rest of my skin. Also, I've been using silicone with silicone and water with water. so what gives??

Re: Foundation pooling into pores

This has happened to me in the past as well @Ashbrat   I find it's really noticeable if I use a foundation that's even just a touch too light for me. You can try going just a shade darker and see if that helps. I hate that speckled sausage nose look too. 🙂

Yes! Its awful. I'll try that.. thanks!

Re: Foundation pooling into pores

@Ashbrat what are your skincare products? What tool do you use to apply foundation? Does it happen without primer? What foundation and primer are you using?

For my latest, today I moisturized with belif aqua bomb....

For my latest, today I moisturized with belif aqua bomb. I used Ole Henriksen banana primer with tarte Amazonian clay foundation. I applied with damp beauty blender, but I also use It airbrush 101 brush with same issue. Skin hasn't always done this. I haven't not used a primer in years, but I may try. I finish up with hangover rx setting spray.

Since you haven't used a primer in years, has the primer been sitting around? If products are old, start fresh.

Try applying less product and allowing more dry down time in between layers. Exfoliation may help as well.
