Drunk Elephant Breakout? - Dermatologist Wanted

I started using drunk elephant products (see list below) about a month ago and I’ve started to notice almost like a rash on both my cheeks, what could this be? Is this normal? I’ve never used good skincare products until I started using these so could it be just that my skin is actually trying to balance itself out? I do have a very oily t-zone (which seems to have subsided) and very dry cheeks - could it be eczema? The rash is not itchy or sore, just looks like red tiny dots all over my cheeks. And then I’ve noticed small breakouts around my mouth and chin. Prior to using these products I’ve always had my struggles with my combo skin but very very rarely had breakouts of any kind. Products: - Beste No. 9 cleanser - C-Firma Day Serum - TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum - Protini Polypeptide Cream - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil

RE: Drunk Elephant Breakout? - Dermatologist Wanted

Ok drunk elephant is my worst nightmare. It started great for like three months and then all of a sudden, my skin started to break out. Cystic acne, whiteheads, blackheads and more. It was so painful and awful and it finally stopped when I stopped using all of their products.

@BellaBee33 that does not sound like a normal reaction. While the TLC serum is an active that can cause purging, it generally is only in the areas that you'd normally break out and it would be strange for it to take a month to see.

How often are you using the TLC serum - it's possible you have over exfoliated that area and should drop the amount you are using it, especially on your cheeks. Vitamin C can also cause break outs for a lot of people. The issue with starting so many new things at once is when something goes wrong it's hard to pin point what it is, but I would guess it's one of those two products.
