Clogged Pores on my Nose

Hello, I'm wondering what products are the most effective for blackheads and clogged/enlarged pores? My skin is pretty normal around most areas of my face except my nose and chin where my pores are very very visible and you can see how clogged they are with sebum. I have tried many products and I'm hoping for some extra advice for minimizing my oil production and large pored on my nose and chin? thanks!

BHA (aka salicylic acid) is the top blackhead-fighting ingredient out there. It's the only oil-soluble acid, meaning it can cut through the gunk to really clear your pores from the inside out.

While it's not bad per se in a cleanser, your best bet is finding a leave on product; cleansers aren't on your skin long enough to make a big difference.

Paula's Choice is the best on the market. They've got multiple % and formulations so you can find your best fit, and many of them come in travel sizes so you can test a few without breaking the bank. 2% is a good starting place for most folks.

Also look for niacinamide; it's a great ingredient for pores and oil control. ELF Hydrating Essence is a cheap and easy source that's well formulated.

A clay mask a couple of times a week can also help soak up some excess oil before it clogs your pores.
