Best primers/foundations for combo skin?

Any suggestions for the best primers and foundations for combo skin? I love a radiant foundation but get super oily in my t-zone and chin throughout the day and need to powder. Would welcome any tips that will help control the oil without drying out the rest of my face.

have you tried the smashbox oil control primer?? The one in the blue packaging? I really like that one. I’m combo skin with an oily af tzone. It doesn’t create dry patches or dry my skin out. You should try the mini size! I also like the tatcha silk canvas and the hourglass mineral veil but those primers are expensive AF

Ooo, I love a good face primer!

So, for the face primer that I'd suggest for combo skin (esp with the t-zone area), I really like the fenty beauty hydration primer. That and some Benefit porefessional. 

For ones that like more hydration on their face, I suggest the l'or primer from guerlain. it's really nice but it's pretty pricey. 

For a more matte like finish, I like the hourglass veil primer or even the smashbox primer. Both are nice!

@hollaitsliz @Use a mattifying primer in oily areas like MAC skin refined zone and MAC blot powder

Hey hey @hollaitsliz ! Which primers have you tried already? Do you have a skincare regimen?

Yes I do 🙂 I use the Biossance Squalane oil cleanser, amorepacific toner and the drunk elephant polypeptide moisturizer. I’ve tried the tatcha silk canvas primer and milk hydro grip primers which are both pretty good.

Maybe try tatcha’s new silk canvas? It’s oil free so if you tend to be more oily, this would be ideal. If you like the original formula than you should love this one!! I would even give pat McGrath’s primer a try as well. It feels like an extra skincare step and makes your face look flawless. It smooths like no other 😍
