boscia's Matcha Magic Super Antioxidant mask

I'm looking through the ingredients list and at the top of the Sephora description it says that there's Matcha in it, but in the actual list of ingredients I don't see any green tea in it. I see near the bottom that there is WHITE tea, and chromium oxide greens for the color. So... is there any actual GREEN tea in this? if not, that sucks and I'd rather buy the much cheaper Matcha mask by leegeeham where green tea is listed as one of the very top ingredients.

boscia's Matcha Magic Super Antioxidant mask

@pineappletea That's actually a really good question. The only apparent tea extract is the white tea, which is listed toward the bottom of the ingredients near a bright green coloring agent. While white tea may have more antioxidant properties when used topically, they specifically use the term "matcha tea" to market it. Perhaps because everyone is so familiar with it and it sounds sexier than white tea? If I was thinking about trying this product, I'd contact the company privately to see if perhaps one of the ingredients is derived from matcha/green tea. (I was in the natural skincare industry for a while, so I tend to be pedantic about ingredients, how they're listed, and take most claims with a grain of salt.) Please share anything you might learn. 🙂
