Supergoop CC cream coverage

Hello guys & gals!

I’m looking for a natural-alternative CC cream with a reasonably good amount of coverage, not too sheer and not too heavy. I want to stay away from heavy makeup (and questionable ingredients) but also need a little coverage for my blemishes and acne scars, with as natural ingredients as possible.

For those of you who use this Supergoop CC cream, how would you describe the coverage amount and the consistency of the cream? Is it oily- or matte-looking once on your skin? Does it stay on for a long or a short time throughout the day before it starts melting? My skin type is combination and acne-prone (drier in winter and oilier in summer, with a T-Zone). Is this product safe and suitable for my type of skin? Also, is it COMEDOGENIC?

Thanks a lot for any help! 🙂

RE: Supergoop CC cream coverage

Try the bare minerals tinted Moisturizer! I love it! It’s my go to everyday make up product. I bought it last year when I saw my skin was starting to dry up more than usual and the bb cream I was using was not working. It’s very hydrating and it has SPF in it which also protects your skin from UVA and UVB rays. 1000% recommend.

Re: RE: Supergoop CC cream coverage

Hi LeydiVasquez, thanks for your advice! I have in fact sampled the BareMinerals tinted mousturizer and I liked it so much that I eventually bought it. I love the light but quite good coverage and the fact that its SPF is physical, which is a lot safer for skin than chemical. I have the Supergoop CC cream also which is a bit heavier and more matte than BareMinerals one, but it also looks very natural and has a physical sunscreen. So I kept both for the Summer lol.

Re: Supergoop CC cream coverage

Brutalitops, regarding the info on Supergoop CC cream and BareMinerals tinted moisturizer - I have bought both - I have to say both are pretty good. BareMinerals one is more creamy and light but has a fairly good coverage. Supergoop one is more matte than BareMinerals and it also has a fairly good coverage. Both creams look natural and are not too heavy, and both have physical sunscreen, which is a lot safer for skin than chemical sunscreen. Ingredients in both look a lot less and a lot safer as well than those in most other CC creams. They don’t break me out, and I have a very acne-prone skin. I hope that helps.
