Sensitive eyes

Hi everyone!

I have been trying for years (since I have been wearing makeup)to find the right mascara and eye shadow that will not irritate my eyes. I have tried the hypoallergenic make up from the drug store which helps a bit but I don't know like how it looks really and the eye shadow and mascara that looks good will end up making my eyes itchy and red (sometimes swollen).

Does anyone else have this problem? And does anyone have a go to brand of make up for your eyes that looks great and dose not cause any issues with your eyes?

@CuryShelly1987 @I have a really hard time wearing mascara as well. I have done okay with the tarte SEA Surfer Curl™ Volumizing Mascara Black  in terms of sensitivity. I only buy the minis because one thing I have found for me, is that older mascara makes me extremely extremely itchy. Like once it’s been open for more than a month I can’t use it.

i’m also fortunate to have dark eyelashes so for everyday I just generally curl them and go without because it’s not worth the potential reaction.

@CuryShelly1987 @Also random, but do you have a shellfish allergy? When I asked my eye doctor about my mascara issues she asked that because a lot of products might contain some kind irritant for people with those? I’m not allergic to any, but if you’re allergic you might want to try looking for vegan only products.

@CuryShelly1987  ILIA Limitless Lash Lengthening Clean Mascara After Midnight is my favorite. My eyes can be sensitive, not as sensitive as yours sound, but it has caused no irritation for me.
