What would you recommend low budget for a teen with acne problems and severe blackheads? Asking because my daughter is struggling.

Products with salicylic acid can help with that. The INKEY List Salicylic Acid Acne + Blackhead Cleanser 10 oz / 300 ml is an affordable option to check out.

Benzoyl peroxide is another ingredient that can help treat bacterial infections within the pores. The INKEY List SuperSolutions 5% Benzoyl Peroxide Cleanser Acne Solution 5 oz / 150 mL

Both of these ingredients can be drying, so it’s best to alternate between the two to minimize irritation but still get the best of both worlds. Start off slow, using twice a week for a week or two, then gradually increasing to every other day, and then finally everyday. If it irritates her skin too much, you can always dial it back to every other day.

I would definitely recommend speaking with a doctor or dermatologist if you can get a referral to see one. They will be able to diagnose the root cause and provide medication to get it under control. I hope your daughter finds relief soon!

Hey! This isn’t on Sephora, but I absolutely love the Anua oil cleanser for blackheads!! After a few days of using it my blackheads absolutely melt away. It goes for $17 on Amazon but I bet you could find lower prices on some korean websites. The fragrance in it might be a problem if she has sensitive skin, though! Hope this helped🫶
