Oooooh @curlychiquita thank you thank you thank you for the side by side Peche and Soleil comparison! I’ve been eyeing that, and watched her video on them this afternoon. It’s helpful to see an up-close swatch:) 

What do you use to apply them?

@eshoeI apply the highlighter with my fingers and then buff it in with the Marc Jacobs Beauty The Shape Contour and Blush Brush No. 15 After that I apply the contour to my face using the stick and then I use the same brush to buff in the contouring stick.

Thank you for the recommendation and tips, @curlychiquita. I tried with a natural hair brush before trying my finger, and it picked up nothing. Her brush is more than I would like to pay for a synthetic, so it’s good to know there are other tried and true options. I only have one MJ brush, but it is natural hair and sheds significantly🤷🏻‍♀️

@eshoeI haven't invested in her brushes because I own a lot of brushes. I think the

SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO Contour Brush #78 would work, too.

I received this lovely gratis yesterday! I got the Monarch palette that I already have from another gratis. It has already been reviewed by me, but I'll include it here as well. I'll be trying the blush probably next Thursday when I have a day off. Everything else will be getting tried out this weekend.

Monarch swatches are 2 finger swipes. Blush and highlighter are 3 swipes, highlighter with finger, and blush straight from container. 

Monarch Review-  1 star. This was a very hard product to use. I'm on the amateur side when it comes to applying eye shadow. It was hard to get a decent look and build-up with this. I used my fingers, regular brush, and a cream eye shadow brush which I found worked the best. These did not last long on me, less than an hour and I had creasing, with and without primer. I do have oily lids though. The string on the package is a nice and handy feature. I will be using the bottom right shade as a highlighter. I did receive this as a tester from Sephora.   ( I haven't used it since).

Hey @Samtian thanks for your eye shadow review! I’m pretty adept with eye shadow but had a hard time with this palette too. I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who found it a bit underwhelming. Glad you found a shade you can keep working with though!
