Is Clean Beauty the same as Sanitized?

@missaa8  Nope. When you sanitize makeup, you reduce bacteria down to safe levels. Most folks do this with isopropyl alcohol, for instance. 

“Clean beauty” has nothing at all to do with killing bacteria (or viruses, for that matter). In fact, “clean beauty” doesn’t really mean anything since it’s not a standardized term in the beauty industry or recognized by a government agency (at least not in the US) as something that can be certified. Any brand or retailer can make up their own definition of what “clean beauty” is.

@missaa8 @No. clean beauty is made with specific clean ingredients. Sanitized beauty is disinfecting makeup.
